How to choose the right place to keep plants
Find a location that gets maximum sunlight, this is the place where your plants will thrive
This place is generally a balcony or a place opposite or adjacent to a window.
If you don't have floor space, then you can also think of vertical gardening, that is hanging plants on the wall.
Pet Friendly Plants
Like cats and dogs or either one of them, then opt for plants that are pet friendly.
Light Light & Light
Sunlight / Artificial light
This one is crucial, check out plants that can thrive in you home as per the amount of sunlight you receive. Different plants have different sunlight requirements.
Their are plants that can grow in low light condition, where as there are few plants that needs bright sunlight, and will not do well under low light conditions.
Complete darkness is a complete NO NO for any plants.
Plants that purifies air
The current trend and the most important reason to grow plants is that people want indoor plants that can purify indoor air. Although all plants purify indoor air, most popular among these plants are snake plants, green zz, money plant, areca palm, Diffenbachia, spider plant or cholrophytum, syngonium, philodendron and many more foliage plants.
Get The Right Pots / Planters
Selecting the right pots/planters is as important as selecting the right planter.
For Seedling
Always use seedling tray to grow seedlings from seeds, this is applicable to all types of seedlings be it flowering or fruiting seeds that are less than 1 cm
To develop seedlings for large size seeds like mango seed or avacado seeds use a polybag.
Small space gardening
Let's begin with small space gardening, here we are talking about urban home where there are less space and hardly any balcony or no balcony
